Bedroom neon signs with a flirty, glamorous glow

A bedroom neon sign doesn't have to play it safe. The Boudoir collection pairs playful handwritten words (Bad Girl, Kiss Me, Oh La La, Come to Bed, Naughty) with glamorous drawings: a high heel, crossed legs in stockings, a lipstick, cherries, a devil heart, fluffy handcuffs. Pink, red and purple give a bedroom, bathroom or lounge real boudoir mood, with humor and nothing explicit.

Which neon sign above the bed?

Above a headboard, one short word reads better than a sentence. Come to Bed, handwritten over three lines in warm white (from $265), keeps a soft light that flatters satin and velvet. Bad Girl in hot pink (from $235) or Naughty in purple (from $235) bring the wink, while Boudoir, underlined with a small pink feather (from $265), sets the tone for the whole room. For a couple's bedroom, Spicy with its little red chili pepper (from $225) or the pink Fluffy Handcuffs (from $225) get a smile before lights out.

50 to 60 cm wide is plenty above a full or queen bed, while 75 cm fills the wall of a large primary bedroom. Use the remote to dim it down to a night-light glow instead of switching on the overhead light. For more ideas on styling the room around it, read our guide to adult bedroom decor ideas.

Retro glamour, lips and cherries

The drawings borrow from 1950s glamour. The Pin-Up, wrapped in a draped veil (from $245), the red High Heel (from $275) and the crossed Legs in stockings (from $270) dress up a bathroom, a walk-in closet or a beauty salon. Lipstick pairs a golden case with a red kiss print (from $235), the Cherries neon sign (from $205) and the orange Peach (from $275) lean sweet and cheeky, and the Devil Heart with its little horns and forked tail (from $235) keeps a sense of humor. Looking for a lips neon sign? Red Lips (from $225), Lips (from $240) and Kiss (from $295) live here too, along with XOXO (from $200).

For a lounge bar, a beauty salon or a bachelorette party

A boudoir sign works for businesses as well. Love Lounge in purple (from $265) or Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in hot pink (from $245) give character to a cocktail bar or a private lounge. Oh La La (from $205) and Kiss Me (from $200) become the photo wall of a beauty or lash studio, and Do Not Disturb (from $280) belongs on the door of a hotel suite. For a bachelorette party, Hot Stuff with its little orange flame (from $255) turns into the backdrop for every group photo, then goes home with the bride. A soft LED glow for a private room

Each sign is a 6 mm LED silicone tube mounted on a clear acrylic backing and powered at 12V through the included adapter. It stays cool to the touch, typically draws 15 to 20 W and has a rated lifespan of 100,000 hours. The remote dims the light and adds lighting effects, the mounting kit lets you fix it to the wall or hang it, and the warranty covers 3 years. Every design comes in 10 colors: pink, red and purple for a sexy boudoir mood, warm white for a gentler light. Delivery takes 7 to 10 days.
